"This is a pictorial carpet in which the shades of the flowers are intense and lively. The picture shows a vase filled with flowers placed on an ivory background. On both sides of the vase we see green stems colored in various shades. Colors range starts from blue, ivory, and pink to red navy and gray. Among the flowers on the edges we see some beautiful butterflies and some lovely birds. The leaves of the flowers inside the vase features a shade of green that symbolizes nature. The vase is shaped using shades of red and navy which combine perfectly. The inner corners of carpet are colored using the same shade as the middle edge of the carpet namely light brown."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
