"The Persian rugs image is outlined in very bright colors that are applied on a navy background. Inside the carpet we observed both animals and flowers and also colorful birds. We see in the middle of the carpet a vase with flowers colored in blue with shades of brown as contours. Flowers of different colors including white, red, blue or brown have finely drawn contours made with great delicacy. The birds have gray colors, ivory and red with blue feathers, red and gray. The ivory flowers of the trees with red outlines are quite natural worked. The edge of the Persian rug also contains colorful birds and flowers. #9296"
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
