"The tripled borders and the allover layout field feature the same navy background. The Herati motif has a beautiful color scheme composed of beige, brown and ivory. These colors are close from a chromatic point of view and therefore they fade into each other creating unity and harmony. The motif's accurate details are beautifully expressed all over the Persian rug's image. For a better visual experience, on the cotton foundation, wool and silk was used. The Iranian Tabriz town which is the origin of this Persian rug's style is one of the oldest and well known center of Persian Persian rugs manufacturing industry where over time the Persian rug's quality was improved continuously."

Tabriz Rugs
The rugs manufactured in the city of Tabriz also are of great finesse. Their predominant colors are red, blue and ivory. They offer strong contrasts in the rug’s image but also inspire serenity and beauty. Most are hand-knotted on a soft cotton foundation using a combination of wool and silk. Some of them show the common floral designed central medallion. Featuring different sizes and a perfect symmetry these rugs prove the skills of those who worked to manufacture them.
