This carpet has no particular design. It presents the image of a vase with flowers. The vase is beautifully outlined in light shades to shine in the center of the image. On both sides of the vase thereÆs a bloomed tree with light colored flowers. Between the trees we can see animals and on the branches of the trees are brightly colored birds. The carpet has a navy background but the colors from the central part of the carpet are very bright. The carpetÆs middle edge is crossed entirely by flowers and birds and it has a red background in a pleasant contrast with the carpetÆs background.
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
