"The image of this Persian rug shows a woman and a man outdoors. The man is playing the mandolin while she dances. On the ground a pitcher and a plate with vegetables is placed. Note the red tulip from the left corner of the image. This flower is a symbol of prosperity in Persian Persian rugs design. Behind the two people in this scenery we also see trees loaded with flowers, birds that are resting and a pure blue sky featuring a natural shade. The Persian rug's image is framed by a red border also decorated with naturaly colored ornaments."

Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
