"At a first glance we see that this Persian rug has a medallion layout. It is accurately outlined, proving manufacturing skills, a specific attribute for the well known Tabriz style Persian rugs. The pink colored background is bright and very natural. The overall picture is airy, but in the same time extremely pleasant. The black border surrounding the field's image is decorated with floral motifs which reach inside the Persian rug's field. Note that each inner corner of the field is decorated with an accurately designed medallion."
Tabriz Rugs
The rugs manufactured in the city of Tabriz also are of great finesse. Their predominant colors are red, blue and ivory.
