"This Persian rug's design is rich in colors with a great load of symbolical value. It has a rust background and a medallion design. We can admire the contrast created by the main border's background with the field's black one. This contrast features strong colors that complement each other. Many shades of green are used for the leaves design. Green is the color of the Prophet Mohammed and is a symbol of youth, of spring, of rebirth. The carpet is worked symmetrically and the light colors inside the medallion are meant to bring a wave of light to the Persian rug's center."
Tabriz Rugs
