"The Persian rug has a particular shade of beige for the background of its pictorial design. The Persian rug borders show a pattern of flowers, birds and animals. We can see the deer, the parrot as a symbol of protection and also other birds. In the foreground we see a man with a carved axe in his left hand and an apple in the other one. In the background image we see a building and the surrounding nature environment. On the man clothes Boteh decorations appear as a symbol of fire and the universe. The Persian rug has very clear details and the overall image is of great effect."

Quom Rugs
The rugs made in the region of Quom are generally made of silk, but also wool or cotton. They are especially known for being used in prayers by the Muslims. Throughout the rug image we see symbols of divinity, very important for the Muslims religion.
