"From the first look we can observe the details abundance and the color variety. Even though the decorations are so crowded, their visibility is not affected thanks to the high contrast with the background color. Following this criterion ivory used for decorating the main border's ornaments is the background color of the Persian rug's field and the predominant red of the field's decorations is the background for the main border. Except the rosette motif, the entire Persian rug's surface is covered with common Persian Persian rugs ornaments. A few examples are the lanceolate leafs, the Shah Abassi motifs and the arched lines which create connections between the first two examples."

Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
